Job summary

Thompson is seeking a Family Support Partner in the Charlotte Wrap Around program to educate guardians and help them access child-serving systems. You will build relationships in the community and provide guidance across education, child welfare, and mental health services.

The role involves 9-12 mentorship hours weekly, in home, school, or community settings, with a typical 9 am–5 pm schedule. Strong interpersonal skills and passion for youth are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth and families in community or care settings.
• Background in child welfare or related services is preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license and be able to travel across counties.

Responsibilities

• Provide education and assistance navigating child-serving systems in Charlotte area.
• Offer 9-12 hours of mentorship weekly in person or virtually to guardians.
• Maintain non-traditional 9–5 schedule, with weekends off and on-call as needed.
