Job summary

Better Together seeks a Family Connection Specialist to triage intakes and assessments, cultivate relationships with strategic and community stakeholders, and analyze data for leadership reports. The role supports families remotely with a focus on timely, compassionate service and data-driven decision making.

The ideal candidate brings leadership, communication, and organizational skills, and is comfortable working remotely within Florida.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in social services, human services, healthcare, or child welfare.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in social work or a related field is preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Must be able to participate in rotating on-call schedule and regular communication with team.

Responsibilities

• Triage intakes from statewide line, partners, and agencies and assess urgency.
• Cultivate relationships with DCF, law enforcement, hospitals, and schools.
• Track intake data and ensure timely follow-up and reporting.
• Oversee regional handoffs and develop initial family service launch plans.
