Job summary

Better Together in Florida is seeking a Family Connection Specialist to triage intakes, assess risk, and build partnerships with child welfare and community partners. The role supports families by coordinating services, data tracking, and referrals.

You will work remotely, manage confidential records, and help lead ongoing engagement initiatives. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in social work or related field is preferred, along with experience in social services.

• Experience in social services or related field is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Intake, triage, and risk assessments: manage and assess all incoming intakes and determine eligibility for programs.
• Cultivation of key partnerships: build and maintain relationships with DCF, law enforcement, hospitals, schools, and other community partners.
• Data management & follow up: track intake information and ensure data accuracy for reporting and audits.
• Family engagement and regional handoff: conduct comprehensive intakes, risk assessments, and coordinate with regional teams for seamless service delivery.
