Advocate Health is seeking a Facility Coding Quality professional for Enterprise Revenue Cycle's Integrity Operations to ensure accurate inpatient coding and compliant hospital practices. This remote role supports coding guidance, audits, and data-driven improvement across the enterprise.

The candidate will have inpatient coding experience, ICD/CPT/HCPCS knowledge, and strong analytical and communication skills, with travel as needed and remote work readiness.

Qualifications

• Inpatient hospital coding experience required.
• Advanced knowledge of ICD, CPT, HCPCS guidelines.
• Experience with revenue cycle processes, health information workflows, and audits.

Responsibilities

• Research, interpret, and apply coding, payer, and regulatory requirements for accurate professional and hospital coding.
• Develop and maintain coding guidance, reference materials, and position statements for enterprise consistency.
• Coordinate and support coding quality audits and track findings for corrective actions.
• Analyze coding quality data and audit results to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare summaries and reports for leadership and quality initiatives.
• Partner with coding leadership and clinicians to improve documentation quality and accuracy.
