Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a remote Enterprise Revenue Cycle – Integrity Operations specialist focused on Facility Coding Quality. The role supports inpatient coding and hospital-based practices with a Monday–Friday 40-hour schedule from a remote location.

The candidate will ensure coding accuracy and regulatory compliance across professional and hospital coding functions. Ideal candidates have advanced ICD, CPT, and HCPCS knowledge, 5 years of expert-level coding experience, and strong data

Qualifications

• 5 years of expert-level professional coding or hospital-based coding experience.
• Advanced knowledge of ICD, CPT, and HCPCS coding guidelines.
• Experience in revenue cycle processes and health information workflows.
• Experience with medical record auditing and documentation quality.

Responsibilities

• Research, interpret, and apply coding, payer, and regulatory requirements to support accurate coding practices.
• Develop and maintain coding guidance and reference materials for enterprise consistency.
• Coordinate and support coding quality audits and track findings.
• Analyze coding quality data to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare summaries and reports for leadership and quality initiatives.
• Partner with clinicians and education teams to improve documentation quality and coding accuracy.
• Support regulatory and quality-related projects and adherence to AHIMA standards.
• Respond to inquiries related to coding guidance and audit outcomes.
