Job summary

Cognizant is hiring a Facets Configuration Manager for a remote-full-time position in the United States. You will lead end-to-end configuration delivery for healthcare payer initiatives, platform transformations, and regulatory programs, coordinating with stakeholders across business, operations, technology, and clients.

You will manage multi-functional Facets areas, establish standards, drive governance, and oversee planning, testing, and production support.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in healthcare payer technology or delivery.
• 5+ years leading Facets configuration teams.
• Experience with enterprise implementations and platform migrations.
• Strong knowledge of payer operations and product management.
• Proven cross-functional, geographically distributed leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead configuration delivery across Facets areas including Membership, Group, Product & Benefits, Provider, Claims, Workflow, Billing, Customer Service, and Accounting.
• Translate business, operational, contractual, and regulatory requirements into scalable configuration solutions.
• Establish configuration standards, design controls, traceability processes, quality reviews, and approval frameworks.
• Manage configuration scope, timelines, estimates, dependencies, releases, environment promotions, and implementation readiness activities.
• Oversee configuration, migration, testing, deployment, and production support across complex healthcare transformation initiatives.
• Drive solution reviews, impact assessments, defect resolution, risk mitigation, and release management activities.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and work allocation for onsite and offshore configuration teams while fostering collaboration and delivery excellence.
• Partner with business, compliance, operations, technology, vendors, and client stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful program outcomes.
• Deliver executive-level reporting, governance updates, delivery metrics, and recovery plans to support informed decision-making.
• Support production stabilization, root-cause analysis, configuration audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
