Job summary

CFS is seeking an External Financial Reporting Manager to oversee SEC reporting, consolidations, compliance, and external reporting initiatives. This high-visibility role partners with executive leadership, external auditors, and the Audit Committee in a Fortune-recognized company environment.

The position offers a base of $130-150k plus a 40% bonus, with total compensation reaching $150k-$200k. Remote work is available with relocation support for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• Active CPA required.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Public accounting experience preferred at Manager/Senior Manager level.
• Strong SEC reporting knowledge and U.S. GAAP/SOX exposure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee external reporting, consolidations, and financial governance.
• Manage SEC filing requirements (Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K) and audit coordination.
• Lead internal controls and SOX compliance initiatives.
• Provide executive-level reporting and analytics to leadership and stakeholders.
• Mentor accounting professionals and drive continuous process improvement.
