Job summary

Teladoc Health seeks an Expert Coach II to provide whole-person 1:1 coaching remotely within the U.S. You will guide behavior changes to improve clinical outcomes and overall health, while delivering an exceptional member experience.

The role requires NBC-HWC certification, ongoing education, a bachelor’s degree, and at least 3 years in healthcare. Strong diabetes knowledge and motivational interviewing are essential, with opportunities to contribute to content and cross‑functional projects.

Qualifications

• Must hold NBC-HWC certification and maintain it with CEUs.
• Bachelor’s degree required; relevant health field preferred.
• 3+ years of professional healthcare experience.
• Strong knowledge of diabetes management and education models.

Responsibilities

• Empowers members to self-manage chronic conditions.
• Assess needs and tailor coaching to drive behavior changes.
• Apply Motivational Interviewing for member-centered coaching.
• Attend required trainings and coordinate with team as needed.
• Support content creation and stay updated on best practices.
• Potentially allocate up to 30% time to cross-functional work.
