Job summary

Teladoc Health is seeking an Expert Coach to deliver whole-person coaching to members, including diabetes education when applicable. You will use evidence-based approaches to drive behavior change and improve health outcomes, while fostering relationships and delivering an excellent member experience.

Responsibilities include empowering self-management, assessing individual needs, applying Motivational Interviewing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• CDCES certification required and CDCES CEU maintenance.
• Strong coaching skills with healthcare background and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Empower members to self-manage chronic conditions.
• Assess member needs and tailor coaching to improve health outcomes.
• Apply Motivational Interviewing for member-centered coaching.
• Attend trainings and meetings as required.
• Maintain scheduling to optimize coaching utilization.
• Mentor less experienced coaches and support content development.
• Stay updated on clinical best practices for whole-person coaching.
• Diabetes-focused coaching with ADCES 7 Self-Care Behaviors where applicable.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects up to 30% of time.
