Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated is seeking an Executive Director, Data Governance Lead to own the governance strategy for the Enterprise Data Platform. You will collaborate with business and tech teams to implement policies, controls, and processes ensuring data trust, security, and compliance.

In this role you’ll lead governance programs, drive continuous improvement, and partner with stakeholders across geography to operationalize governance requirements within an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience required.
• 10+ years in enterprise‑level data governance, data management or related field.
• 4+ years leading enterprise initiatives and engineering solutions with business alignment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and execution of the organization’s data governance program across the EDP ecosystem.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and operationalize data policies, standards, and controls.
• Monitor compliance through audits and metrics; develop and maintain governance metrics.
• Establish relationships and drive organizational objectives through governance oversight.
• Develop frameworks to classify data, ownership, lifecycle, access controls, and metadata.
• Work in an Agile environment, refine priorities, milestones, and deliverables.
• Lead cross‑functional projects to drive adoption of governance standards.
