Job summary

Labcorp in the United States is seeking an Executive Director, Business Development to lead growth across hospitals and health systems, advancing digital pathology, AI-enabled diagnostics, and transformative laboratory partnerships.

You will build executive-level relationships with C-suite leaders, develop and execute strategic BD plans, and negotiate complex collaborations while aligning legacy services with new digital offerings to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 10+ years of executive-level selling experience.
• Proven healthcare sales experience.
• Proficiency with CRM platforms.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth and new health system partnerships through digital pathology, AI-enabled diagnostics, innovative pathology services, and related healthcare solutions.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to commercialize and expand digital pathology offerings.
• Develop and execute strategic business development, sales, and market growth plans.
• Build and maintain executive-level relationships across health systems, hospitals, and pathology organizations, including C-suite leaders.
• Identify, negotiate, and close complex partnership agreements while expanding long-term strategic relationships.
• Leverage market insights, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback to shape strategy and identify growth opportunities.
• Utilize data and analytics to forecast performance, optimize account strategies, and drive business results.
• Deliver consultative, value-based solutions through effective listening and communication.
