Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years supporting high‑volume clinical laboratory software systems.
• 4+ years managing a team of software engineers or similar roles.
• 8+ years in software development engineering or related technical disciplines including clinical laboratory experience.
• 3+ years leading enterprise‑scale engineering initiatives.
• 3+ years designing or overseeing complex enterprise software systems or platforms.
• 3+ years partnering with cross‑functional stakeholders to align technical strategies with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead software development engineering strategy aligned with enterprise business, product, and technology objectives.
• Drive engineering excellence, continuous improvement, and high‑quality software delivery across complex clinical laboratory systems.
• Foster accountability, quality, and on‑time delivery while complying with regulatory requirements, SOPs, and standards.
• Partner with product, architecture, infrastructure, and business teams to align initiatives with priorities.
• Establish engineering standards, governance practices, and operational frameworks for scalable platforms.
• Monitor performance, identify risks, and implement improvements for delivery and reliability.
• Build and develop high‑performing teams; promote collaboration across IT organizations.
• Ensure application and system availability metrics meet SLAs.
