BioCryst Pharmaceuticals seeks an Exec. Director, US Market Access to lead a team of Market Access Directors and drive pull-through strategies for BioCryst products.

This remote role focuses on national and regional payer strategies, contracting, and access programs across the United States. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in biopharma market access, strong leadership, and a track record in specialty launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; master's degree or higher preferred.
• At least 10 years' experience in biopharmaceutical market access with 5–7 years in US operations/strategy.
• Experience leading a market access team and (preferred) national account leadership.
• US specialty product launch experience in rare diseases is a plus.
• Experience with national payers, regional payers, government accounts, and field reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Coach and develop Market Access Directors across regions for optimal coverage.
• Develop overarching strategy with VP Market Access and cross-functional teams.
• Develop and present strategic account plans for assigned payer verticals.
• Lead interactions with US payers to build awareness of BioCryst products.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Patient Services, and Finance to implement US managed care strategy.
