BioCryst Pharmaceuticals seeks an Exec. Director, US Market Access to lead a team of Market Access Directors and drive pull-through strategies across the United States.

The role reports to the VP, Market Access & Patient Services and requires cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Patient Services, and payer teams. The role demands 10+ years in biopharma with 5–7 in US market access, and experience leading national/account management for rare-disease products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; master's degree preferred.
• At least 10 years in biopharmaceuticals with 5–7 years in US market access roles.
• Experience leading market access teams and regional/national account management.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Market Access Directors to execute access and pull-through strategies across regions.
• Develop and present strategic account plans for payer verticals.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Patient Services, and Finance to shape US managed care strategy.
• Build and maintain payer relationships (national payers, PBMs, Medicare/Medicaid) to maximize patient access.
• Prepare business updates and plans aligned with Market Access, Sales and Marketing objectives.
• Lead special access projects with National PBMs/Payers and trade associations as needed.
