Job summary

Global Network Recruiting, LLC is seeking an EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR of BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT for Aerospace/Defense/Space. This hands-on leader will craft and execute growth plans, bridging engineering capabilities into precision-machined systems and steering growth across the A&D portfolio.

The role reports to the CRO and demands a strategic, entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of expanding markets, winning new business, and managing high-level relationships. Remote with significant travel.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of demonstrated Business Development experience in Aerospace/Defense/Space for mechanical systems or machining.
• Strong business acumen to develop Go-to Market Strategies.
• Identify and win new business while cultivating existing relationships.
• Shape long term A&D capabilities including planning, investments and M&A activities.
• Collaborate with the Executive team and be the primary face of the organization for the A&D market.
• US Citizenship required; DoD clearance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute growth initiatives to expand A&D market share.
• Bridge core engineering capabilities into precision-machined systems.
• Lead strategic direction and assess potential acquisitions.
• Represent the company to customers, partners, and stakeholders in aerospace/defense/space.
