Job summary

Global Network Recruiting, LLC has been engaged to place a Business Development Director for a well-established CNC machining organization serving defense, space, naval and energy sectors. The role focuses on expanding a $40M division by building relationships and securing defense contracts.

You will develop and execute a strategic growth plan, engage primes, depots and suppliers, and act as the primary defense contact. Remote work is offered with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DEFENSE products manufacturing or CNC machined components.
• Strategic mindset for navigating defense market with government contracts, primes, depots, MROs and suppliers.
• Experience capturing DoD/government programs with full lifecycle contracts and compliance (Mil-Std/AS9100/DFARS/ITAR).
• BS/MS/MBA in business, engineering or technical field with strong business acumen.
• US Citizenship; prior military service is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead growth of a $40M division; report to VP/GM.
• Develop and execute a strategic roadmap to build relationships and capture defense contracts and awards.
• Serve as primary Defense Industry point of contact with customers and partners.
