Job summary

Access Destination Services is seeking an Events Manager to lead strategic and hands-on event delivery in the DC or Boston area. You will collaborate with Sales and Creative teams, manage vendor relationships, budgets, contracts, and on-site staff to ensure client WOW and operational excellence.

The role emphasizes budget ownership, SOW management, KPI tracking, and upselling services. A proactive, client-focused leader who can navigate multiple programs and vendors will thrive in our inclusive,

Qualifications

• 2–5 years experience managing multiple clients and programs.
• Demonstrated success in planning and executing events.
• Self-motivated, customer-focused, and team-oriented
• Strong organization and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational solutions to clients, always seeking improvements.
• Manage all vendors required for a program.
• Own the Statement of Work, deposits, and final invoicing.
• Oversee event staff and prepare them for events to ensure excellence.
• Upsell services to enhance client experience.
• Own the budget with a goal of achieving gross profit targets.
• Coordinate with hotel/venue teams for seamless partnerships.
• Maintain Salesforce and vendor data, ensure vetted approvals.
