Job summary

IDC is seeking an Event Project Manager to support a portfolio of Canadian events with a supporting role in U.S. events. This remote role reports to the Sr. Director, Events – Americas and sits in a global events team delivering high‑quality experiences.

You will manage kickoff calls, activation strategies, sponsor relations, and on-site execution while traveling 4–6 times annually within North America. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in event management and proficiency with Monday.com and CVENT.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in event management, client/partner relations, or B2B sponsorship delivery.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (English fluency required).
• Client-centric mindset with proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead kickoff calls and ongoing sponsor meetings to align on goals and deliverables.
• Translate client objectives into activation strategies across in-person, virtual, and custom formats.
• Manage sponsor relationships across multiple events, ensuring high service levels.
• Coordinate custom client programs like executive dinners, roundtables, and bespoke experiences.
• Collaborate with audience development to recruit sponsor-attendee targets and support sponsorships.
