Job summary

Profiles is seeking a remote, part-time freelance Event Manager (Site Selection) to lead the site selection lifecycle for multiple projects and collaborate with the leadership team. You will negotiate with hotels and venues, guide client presentations, and coordinate with senior management to ensure goals and budgets are met.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of event industry experience with high-touch corporate events.
• Expert knowledge of site and venue selection, including RFPs, contracts, and venue relationships.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills; able to interact with senior management and clients.
• Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple projects on time and budget.
• Proficiency with GSuite, MS Office, Slack, and event platforms; willingness to travel and work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Lead site selection lifecycle for multiple projects from research to onsite execution.
• Source and negotiate hotels, venues, and DMCs to meet client goals and budgets.
• Present venue options to clients and translate needs into project plans with updates.
• Develop and mentor site selection team and plan resources with leadership.
• Oversee budgets, billing, and expense tracking including post-event reconciliation.
