Job summary

Revecore, a company helping hospitals recover revenue across the United States, seeks an Event Setup Specialist. You will evaluate incoming data, identify leads, and update patient records while complying with state requirements and contractual needs.

You’ll interact with paper, fax, and electronic data, ensuring accuracy and QA. You will work remotely from home, require a secure connection and a distraction-free environment, and must reside in the United States as listed.

Qualifications

• Ability to type 35 WPM with minimal errors.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal customers.
• Highly organized with a systematic method of performing tasks.
• Ability to enter and process large amounts of information quickly with minimal errors.
• Proven reliability, dependability, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Understand MRA departments and their information needs.
• Ability to alter workflow according to client requirements.
• Working knowledge of auto and health payers, and the hierarchy of patient accounting.
• Ability to balance big picture and detailed work.
• Comfort with computer functions including the internet and Microsoft Office; learn new systems.
• Be comfortable with printer, scanner, postage machines, scales, mail sorters, and in-house systems.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate all incoming documents and data from medical providers and identify leads and important information for the event.
• Enter relevant new incoming information into the patient record.
• Synthesize information and determine additional data needed and next steps.
• Interact with data in formats including paper, fax, and electronic.
• Consistently meet production standards and QA requirements.
• Perform special projects as assigned.
• Maintain confidential information and adhere to privacy rules.
• Do not access PHI beyond job duties or disclose PHI.
