Job summary

it's electric is a curbside electric vehicle charging company expanding deployments across the US. The Philadelphia-based Project Engineer will drive deployment of its curbside charging model in the city, coordinating site assessments, designs, and permits.

The role emphasizes remote work with autonomous, organized execution, experience in electrical distribution, and strong collaboration with stakeholders. PE is preferred, and travel to local meetings and HQ may be required.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in electrical engineering with complex urban design/build projects.
• Knowledge of electrical distribution systems in cities and buildings.
• Familiarity with NEC (NFPA 70) and the National Electric Safety Code.
• Experience using AutoCAD and Bluebeam for drawings and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Overall project management for charger deployments.
• Site assessment including available power capacity.
• Project design and engineering with drawings and specs.
• Signing and stamping permit drawings for local authorities.
• Coordination with permit authorities and utilities.
• Contractor bid and award; construction administration.
