Cumming Group is seeking a Construction Project Manager for EV charging projects to lead scheduling, budgeting, and coordination with clients and stakeholders. This full-time role offers remote work with significant travel across the Western region.

The incumbent will develop management plans, monitor scope and cost, and drive permitting efforts to meet timelines while ensuring adherence to client standards and project documents.

Qualifications

• Experience managing the construction of complex electrical or industrial projects.
• Willingness to travel 30–50% within the Western region.
• Experience preparing Project Management Plans and fee/budget proposals.
• Ability to develop action plans and monitor project scope.
• Knowledge of permitting processes and ability to drive timelines.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and coordinate project schedule, scope, and cost.
• Value engineer opportunities for savings and substitutions.
• Communicate with and manage project stakeholders.
• Prepare Project Management plan and fee budget at project outset.
• Develop action plans guiding the project team from start to finish.
• Coordinate with cost management for estimates and budget reconciliation.
• Drive permitting process with local, state, and federal agencies to keep on schedule.
• Ensure design management aligns with client documents and standards.
• Prepare cost and revenue projections.
