Job summary

Boston Institute of Biotechnology LLC (BIB) is seeking an Associate Director/Director to drive European business development in biotech and pharma. This remote/field-based role focuses on identifying opportunities, opening doors with decision-makers, and closing complex deals across Germany and the EU.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in BD or sales within biotech/CDMO environments, with strong English skills and a robust network. Travel within Europe is expected.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in BD, sales, or related roles in biotech/pharma.
• Experience selling complex technical services to biotech/pharma companies.
• Fluency in English; another European language is a plus.
• Experience with CRO/CMO/CDMO is preferred.
• Strong hunter mentality and proven revenue growth.
• Strong self-motivation and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Identify and convert new business in allocated European territory.
• Contact prospects and secure meetings.
• Develop opportunities from qualification to contract.
• Maintain Salesforce data and provide forecasts.
• Collaborate with R&D, CMC, Ops, PM, and Marketing.
• Travel within Europe as required.
