Job summary
Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a L2 Hardware and Applications System Support Specialist for Clinical Chemistry and Blood Banking. The role focuses on expert technical support for diagnostic hardware, proactive customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration across Europe.
The position is remote-based with approximately 70% travel to client sites in Europe, reporting to the Manager of technical support and escalations.
Qualifications
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, electronics, IT, science, or related field; minimum of 3 years in technical support with hardware systems.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills for hardware and biochemical issues.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-depth hardware and biochemical troubleshooting for diagnostic systems and support local engineers.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries, manage escalations, and provide insights on product performance.
- Maintain product knowledge and deliver training across Europe for internal teams and customers.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Quality/Regulatory and Engineering/Applications to support new systems and improve service efficiency.
- Ensure repair and maintenance activities comply with manuals and standards and perform remote troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
