CU Medicine is seeking a highly motivated ETM Coder (Coder I/II/III) to join our team. This 100% remote role supports CMS-based professional services coding and charge capture with timely submission.

Candidates should hold CPC or equivalent certification and bring strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 coding. The coder will review provider documentation, assign codes, ensure accuracy, and participate in education modules while maintaining performance standards.

Qualifications

• Requires CPC or equivalent certification.
• Experience coding medical documentation per CMS guidelines.
• Ability to review documentation and ensure accurate ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 coding.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Review provider documentation to validate complete/proper procedural and diagnoses coding.
• Evaluate ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 codes with modifiers when needed.
• Process charges within CMS/state regulations and maintain timely submission.
• Maintain 95%+ accuracy and meet department production standards.
• Collaborate with leadership to document coding policies and procedures.
