Eliassen Group is seeking an experienced ETL Engineer with deep expertise in Java Spring Batch for a large-scale modernization initiative focused on decommissioning Informatica workflows.

This remote, W2 contract role will analyze legacy ETL processes, translate complex business logic into modern data pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable ETL solutions in an Agile environment.

Formación

• 6+ years of software engineering with Java and Spring Batch.
• Extensive experience with enterprise ETL or batch processing.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Artifactory).
• Relational databases and SQL; Informatica migration experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze Informatica workflows and ETL processes to understand business logic.
• Design, develop, and enhance Java Spring Batch applications for enterprise ETL.
• Translate legacy ETL workflows into modern, maintainable batch solutions.
• Develop data transformation, validation, and reconciliation logic.
• Collaborate with analysts, data engineers, and application teams to define migration requirements.
• Create technical documentation detailing ETL workflows, data mappings, and migration approaches.
• Troubleshoot batch processing issues and optimize performance for high-volume data workloads.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, testing, and production support.
