You will analyze legacy Informatica workflows, translate complex business logic into modern data pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable ETL solutions in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering with strong Java and Spring Batch.
• Extensive experience building enterprise ETL or batch processing applications.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Artifactory.
• Experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS (ECS, ECR, EC2).
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
• Experience migrating legacy ETL solutions, Informatica preferred.
• Understanding of data integration, data quality, and reconciliation techniques.
• Experience in Agile environments.
• Financial services industry experience.
• Python-based ETL development preferred.
• Familiarity with Generative AI tooling (GitHub Copilot).
• Knowledge of enterprise scheduling and orchestration tools.
• Experience with cloud-based data processing platforms.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing Informatica workflows and ETL processes to understand business logic and data transformations.
• Design, develop, and enhance Java Spring Batch applications for enterprise ETL processing.
• Translate legacy ETL workflows into modern, maintainable batch processing solutions.
• Develop data transformation, validation, and reconciliation logic for data accuracy.
• Collaborate with analysts, data engineers, and application teams to define migration requirements.
• Troubleshoot batch processing issues and optimize performance for high-volume data workloads.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, testing, and production support.
• Create technical documentation detailing ETL workflows and migration approaches.
