Eliassen Group is seeking an experienced ETL Engineer specializing in Java Spring Batch to support a large-scale modernization effort. The role focuses on decommissioning Informatica workflows and building scalable data pipelines in an Agile environment.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in Java and Spring Batch, with enterprise ETL experience, and familiarity with CI/CD (Jenkins), AWS, and SQL. Remote work is offered, with W2 benefits included.

Qualificações

• 6+ years of software engineering with focus on Java and Spring Batch.
• Enterprise ETL or batch processing experience.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, Artifactory).
• AWS cloud experience (ECS, EC2, S3) and SQL databases.
• Familiarity with Informatica migration preferred and data quality concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze existing Informatica workflows and ETL processes to understand business logic and data transformations.
• Design, develop, and enhance Java Spring Batch applications for enterprise-scale ETL.
• Translate legacy ETL workflows into modern, maintainable batch processing solutions.
• Develop data transformation, validation, and reconciliation logic for data accuracy.
• Collaborate with analysts, data engineers, and application teams on migration requirements.
• Leverage AI tools like GitHub Copilot to improve productivity during analysis.
• Troubleshoot batch processing issues and optimize performance for high-volume data.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, testing, and production support.
• Create technical docs detailing ETL workflows, mappings, and migration approaches.
