Eliassen Group is seeking an experienced ETL Engineer with deep expertise in Java Spring Batch to support a large-scale modernization initiative focused on decommissioning Informatica workflows. This role analyzes legacy ETL processes, translates complex business logic into modern data pipelines, and collaborates with cross-functional teams in a remote, US-based environment.

Qualificações

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with Java and Spring Batch.
• Experience building enterprise ETL or batch processing solutions.
• CI/CD experience with Jenkins and Artifactory.
• AWS cloud experience (ECS, ECR, EC2) and SQL proficiency.
• Experience migrating legacy ETL/ Informatica is a plus.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze existing Informatica workflows and ETL processes to understand business logic and data transformations.
• Design, develop, and enhance Java Spring Batch applications supporting enterprise-scale ETL processing.
• Translate legacy ETL workflows into modern batch processing solutions.
• Develop data transformation, validation, and reconciliation logic to ensure data accuracy.
• Collaborate with business analysts and data engineers to define migration requirements.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity.
• Troubleshoot batch processing issues and optimize performance.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, testing, and production support.
• Create technical documentation detailing ETL workflows, data mappings, and migration approaches.
