Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking a Manager of Estimating for utility-scale solar and battery storage projects. This remote role leads the estimating team, develops templates, and collaborates with Pre-Construction, Operations, and Procurement to deliver competitive proposals.

The role requires self-perform estimating experience and a background in solar or storage, with occasional travel to client sites and industry events. Strong leadership and budgeting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field.
• Experience in subcontract tendering and response evaluation.
• Experience with solar and/or battery storage.
• Self-perform construction experience preferred.
• Experience with B2W Estimating software preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop estimating team with Leadership and manage department proposal capacity and quality.
• Provide coaching to team members and promote growth while upholding company values.
• Own select departmental templates and processes within Estimating.
