Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years Banking and/or Escrow Experience highly preferred.
• Intermediate level working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and escrow related software.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine correspondence and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.
• Responds promptly to customer needs and delivers feedback to improve service.
• Balances team and individual responsibilities and contributes to a positive team culture.
• Writes clearly and informatively and presents numerical data effectively.
• Prioritizes and plans work activities and sets goals.

Responsibilities

• Assist escrow branch operations with disbursement of escrow transactions by setting up a disbursement ledger with checks and wires, reviewing supporting documents, and inputting data from closing statements.
• Review and prepare closing files for disbursement once the file is closed.
• Confirm that the file balances are accurate and disburse the funds according to direction.
• Work with escrow officers and Title Agents to balance files that have closed and disburse the file.
