Job summary

Rebuilt is seeking a remote Escrow Agent to diligently manage, review and close real estate transactions. The role requires strong title insurance background, knowledge of the full escrow lifecycle, and ability to coordinate remote closings for borrowers, lenders and investors.

Primary responsibilities include preparing closing statements, reviewing documents, and ensuring funding conditions are met. Applicants should have five years of title/real estate experience and be able to work

Qualifications

• Licensed Title Insurance agent with real estate or title insurance experience.
• Ability to review contracts, title commitments and closing documents.
• Strong knowledge of the title process from start to finish.
• Experience balancing escrow accounts and closing statements.
• Proven ability to schedule/coordinate remote and on-site closings.

Responsibilities

• Process/Prepare real estate transactions including closing statements.
• Respond to inquiries from borrowers, lenders and investors.
• Schedule closings and manage the closing calendar.
• Balance escrow accounts and settlement statements accurately.
• Review title commitments and identify defects or curative items.
• Prepare Closing Disclosures, ALTA statements, HUDs as applicable.
• Verify lender instructions and closing conditions.
• Coordinate remote, mobile, attorney, and mail-away closings.
• Review documents for completeness prior to funding.
• Coordinate recording of deeds, mortgages, and related documents.
