Job summary

T2 Flex is recruiting Epic Patient Scheduler specialists to support hospitals and physician groups from a remote home office. The role emphasizes accurate data entry, patient intake, and HIPAA-compliant communications to improve access and revenue.

Strong Epic scheduling experience and reliable, detail-oriented work are essential. Temporary full-time W-2 employment with shifts 7:00 AM–7:00 PM EST, paid hourly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to navigate Epic scheduling, registration, and patient access workflows.
• Experience reviewing orders, patient demographics, insurance information, and appointment details within Epic.
• Flexible and adaptive to a fast-paced call center environment.
• Comfortable working in multiple software applications and EMR systems.
• Strong computing and software skills (PC, MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Reliable, with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Collecting all required patient information, including scheduling, pre-registration, and insurance verification.
• Answering, screening, and processing requests and telephone inquiries with HIPAA/HITECH confidentiality.
• Entering demographic, clinical, and billing information accurately.
• Explaining processes and forms to callers so patients understand documentation requirements.
• Collecting copays and payment information when necessary.
• Processing information according to client policies and procedures.
• Providing professional, compassionate and concierge-like service to patients.
• Work from 7am to 7pm EST, 40 hours per week, remote environment.
