Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an experienced professional fee coder to accurately assign CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10 codes and modifiers within Epic Work Queues. The role requires deep CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 knowledge and strong attention to documentation quality.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of pro fee coding experience, CPC or CCS-P certification, and prior Epic PB Resolute experience. This is a fully remote role with competitive benefits and a focus on provider education.

Qualifications

• Pro fee coding experience with CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10
• Proficiency in Epic and PB Resolute workflows and queues
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency and documentation skills
• Required CPC or CCS-P credential

Responsibilities

• Navigate Epic EMR, reports, and work queues.
• Evaluate and resolve coding edits in Charge Review, Claim Edit, and Follow-up queues.
• Review medical records to assign CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10 codes and modifiers.
• Understand and apply Medicare Physician Fee Schedule guidelines.
• Communicate coding/denial trends to leadership and providers.
