Job summary

Required CPC or CCS-P certification and experience in professional fee coding including E/M services, with proficiency in Epic and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and resolves coding edits in Epic work queues.
• Assigns ICD, CPT, and HCPCS classifications based on documentation.
• Escalates coding/denial trends and provider education opportunities.
• Communicates with providers via Epic in-basket and email.
• Ensures adherence to departmental protocols.
