Job summary

enGen is seeking an Epic Beaker specialist to configure, roll out, and support Epic Beaker applications. You will analyze end-user needs, define requirements, design workflows, and document solutions while guiding end-users to effective use of the system.

Responsibilities include building, testing, and maintaining Epic modules, handling routine maintenance, and providing training materials. Remote-based position with travel up to 25% and opportunities to lead small projects.

Qualifications

• 3 years of Epic modules systems administration experience.
• Associates degree required; 2 years of relevant work experience may substitute.
• Epic Application Certification within 6 months.
• Preferred: 3 years of healthcare industry experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare or related field.

Responsibilities

• Plans, designs/builds, tests, implements, and supports Epic software.
• Analyzes and determines system requirements; documents workflow and trains users.
• Configures changes within Epic environments to provide standardized workflows and fixes issues.
• Contributes to small to medium projects and updates stakeholders on progress.
• Performs root cause analysis and documents solutions.
