Job summary

Berger Health System is seeking an Epic System Analyst to support design, build, testing, training, deployment, and ongoing support of Epic applications. The role emphasizes translating business needs into reliable Epic configurations, integrations, and reporting to optimize clinical and revenue cycle workflows.

The position spans Application Build and Training with focus areas that may vary by team. Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree and Epic experience within a healthcare

Qualifications

Experience with Epic applications and healthcare workflows.
Strong requirements gathering, workflow design, and testing skills.
Familiarity with ITIL, change control, SDLC practices, system governance, and waterfall/agile project methodologies.

Responsibilities

Engage stakeholders to gather and refine requirements and map workflows.
Configure Epic build elements and ensure environment parity with change controls.
Develop and execute test plans (unit, integration, UAT) and log defects.
Coordinate releases, downtime procedures, and post-live support.
Provide end-user training and documentation for Epic configurations and integrations.
Collaborate with inter-department teams to support cross-application workflows (Epic and third-party apps).
