Job summary

Xtensys is seeking an Epic Applications Analyst – Professional Billing SBO to join our growing remote team serving health systems nationwide. You will provide system-level support, manage installations, configurations, testing, and ongoing optimization of Epic applications with focus on billing modules.

Qualifications

• Epic certification in the assigned module (Epic Resolute Professional Billing Administration) is required.
• 3+ years of experience in technology, healthcare, or a related industry.
• Hands-on experience supporting, configuring, building, or maintaining applications relevant to the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide system-level support for assigned Epic applications, including installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and ongoing optimization.
• Support application builds, upgrades, implementations, testing, and validation to maintain functionality and stability.
• Investigate and resolve application issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Gather and translate business, clinical, and financial requirements into technical solutions.
• Partner with clinical, operational, financial, IT, and other teams to resolve issues and improve workflows.
• Provide technical guidance, education, and troubleshooting support to end users and collaborate with training teams.
• Lead and participate in project planning, develop work plans, and coordinate tasks to meet timelines.
• Communicate project status, risks, and changes to stakeholders; escalate when needed.
• Identify opportunities to improve application functionality and efficiency.
