Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Project Controls Scheduler to develop and maintain integrated EPC schedules for PV solar projects across the region. The role requires travel to job sites and coordination with engineering, procurement and field teams.

The position is fully remote, with location details discussed during interview. In this role you will use P6 to create realistic schedules, perform quantity take-offs, analyze documents, and update schedules at least twice a month, ensuring on-time project

Qualifications

• Engineering, Construction Management, or related degree required.
• Minimum 3 years project engineering or related experience.
• Experience scheduling construction HV/substations is preferred.
• P6 scheduling software is required.
• Ability to travel to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain EPC project schedules using P6.
• Analyze project documents, designs, contracts to form schedule basis.
• Create and maintain activity durations and baseline files.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, PM and field teams.
• Obtain feedback from owners and consultants to improve buy-in.
• Ensure logical schedules with CPM best practices.
• Attend project meetings (pre-construction, coordination, owner meetings).
• Update schedules at least twice monthly with actuals and deviations.
• Distribute schedule reports to team via Teams/SharePoint.
• Maintain delay logs from development to completion.
• Record weather delays and compare with NOAA normals.
• Perform what-if analyses and change orders.
• Train field staff in scheduling procedures and tool usage.
