Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Project Controls Scheduler to develop and maintain EPC schedules for PV solar projects. The role requires travel to jobsites within the region and coordination with engineering, procurement, and field management teams.

This fully remote position offers the opportunity to lead scheduling efforts across multiple projects, ensure critical-path accuracy, and support project teams in achieving on-time, on-budget execution.

Qualifications

• Engineering, construction management, or architectural degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of project engineering or related experience.
• Experience scheduling for HV, substations, or electrical projects.
• Prior scheduling in an EPC environment preferred.
• Ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
• Experience using P6 software; strong knowledge of CPM.

Responsibilities

• Use P6 software to develop and maintain EPC project schedules.
• Analyze project documents to understand schedule requirements.
• Perform basic quantity take-offs to establish activity durations.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and field management teams.
• Update schedule at least twice a month and monitor critical path.
• Prepare as-built schedules reflecting actual conditions.
• Maintain delay logs and NOAA weather comparisons.
• Visit jobsites as needed.
