Job summary

SunStrong Management is seeking a remote Commercial Project Delivery Director to own the execution of its construction and capital project portfolio across solar, energy storage, wind, and EV infrastructure. The role carries commercial ownership of EPC relationships, gate discipline, and long-term operability of built assets.

You will set protocols, reports, and governance across project cycles, and maintain a strong risk position while refusing incomplete turnover packages.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years in construction or project delivery within energy, utility, or infrastructure.
• Five or more years leading project managers.
• Demonstrated ownership of utility-scale or distributed generation construction portfolios.
• Experience with commissioning, turnover, and EPC contracts.

Responsibilities

• Own the execution of construction and capital project portfolio, including schedule, cost, and operability.
• Maintain and enforce project delivery protocols across project cycles.
• Interface with EPCs, lenders, tax equity partners, and host customers to manage risk and performance.
• Lead governance meetings and drive risk mitigation to closure.
• Drive safety, quality, and asset operability standards across the portfolio.

Education

Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field
