Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Sales Representative for the Electrophysiology (EP) segment in the United States. You will call on physicians and hospitals to sell a range of Abbott medical devices in an assigned territory, conduct market research, and service accounts while presenting new products.

The role requires strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with about 50% travel and remote handling in the U.S. healthcare market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent with 5+ years of sales in cardiovascular devices.
• Ability to satisfy vendor credentialing requirements, including vaccination for COVID-19.
• Documented record of delivering sales/marketing information which informs management decisions.
• Experience selling EP disposables, capital equipment, and service/warranty.
• Ability to establish and maintain good relationships with customers, physicians, and hospital staff.
• Strong verbal and written communication, negotiation, sales, interpersonal and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Call on physicians and hospitals to sell Abbott's medical devices in an assigned territory.
• Conduct marketing surveys and territory analysis.
• Service accounts and present new products.
• Collaborate with team and drive actionable ideas.
• Attend trade shows and conferences to meet clients and discuss products.
