Job summary

ICF is seeking an Environmental Planner to work remotely, preferably in Florida or the Eastern United States. You will support NEPA compliance for energy, transportation, and land-use projects, collaborating with clients and senior staff to deliver high-quality analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in natural or physical science, urban planning, public policy, economics, environmental management or related subjects.
• 2+ years of relevant professional experience in environmental planning or NEPA work.
• Experience leading or supporting project management teams preferred.
• Experience with NEPA for Transportation and Energy projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop written materials and analyses for EAs or EISs or categorical exclusions.
• Support client meetings by preparing agendas and summaries.
• Assist permitting and compliance for traditional and renewable energy projects under NEPA.
• Review NEPA documents prepared by applicants' contractors and environmental components.
• Support the Project Management team and coordinate with stakeholders.
