Job summary

ICF's Environment & Planning Division seeks a Senior Environmental Planner to support NEPA compliance for energy, disaster management, and transportation projects. Remote work is supported, with preference for Florida or the Eastern United States.

You will act as a lead reviewer, coordinate with applicants and agency staff, and help manage EAs and EISs, budgets, and schedules as part of a dedicated Project Management team. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field is required.
• Experience leading or supporting project management teams is preferred.
• Experience with NEPA projects for Transportation and Energy projects is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Serving as a lead reviewer for NEPA projects
• Interacting with applicants and agency staff
• Helping agency staff manage the preparation of EAs and EISs
• Reviewing NEPA documents prepared by the applicant’s contractor
• Reviewing environmental components of applications
• Participating in the Project Management team
• Acting as PM on EAs or DPM on EISs
• Developing written materials and analyses for EAs or EISs or categorical exclusions
• Serving as a liaison to direct technical staff on project teams
• Coordinating project deliverables with document production staff
• Developing and monitoring project scopes, schedules, and budgets
• Organizing and facilitating meetings and preparing summaries
• Communicating with clients, stakeholders, and agency staff
