Job summary

GovCIO is seeking an entry-level proposal writer to join a growing team. This fully remote role within the United States focuses on creating compliant, compelling content for government solicitations and supporting past performance and resume writing.

You will collaborate with the proposal team, apply storyboarding and best practices, and ensure artifacts are delivered on schedule while aligning with overall strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's with 1-3 years (or commensurate experience).
• Experience responding to Government solicitations (RFPs, RFQs).
• Ability to write compliant and compelling proposal sections for Federal/Civilian and DoD/IC.
• Experience tailoring content for non-technical proposal sections (past performance, resumes).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic environment.

GovCIO is currently hiring for an entry-level proposal writer to join our dynamic team of growth professionals as a proposal writer/analyst. This position will be fully remote within the United States.

Responsibilities

• Creates compliant and compelling proposal content by thoroughly analyzing the solicitation requirements and working as part of a team. Assignments include supporting and leading past performance and resume creation with some oversight and coaching.

• Uses critical thinking skills to iteratively develop content using best practices such as storyboarding.

• Delivers required artifacts according to the schedule.

• Collaborates with other proposal team members to integrate win themes, discriminators, and strengths into assigned written sections.

• Ensures accuracy of data and alignment of assigned section with overall proposal strategy and messaging.

• Will serve as a past performance or resume writer covering multiple contracts or candidates.

• This is for a junior-level position.

• Other duties as assigned.

• Proficient with MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Some experience writing for government proposals valued at $25M and greater.

Posted Salary Range

USD $60,000.00 - USD $80,000.00 /Yr.
