Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Solutions Architect for a 100% remote role in the U.S. You will define end-to-end architectures for enterprise applications, covering application, data, security, and infrastructure layers, and partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into reference designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in software engineering or solution architecture.
• Experience architecting enterprise applications across at least two major cloud platforms.
• Strong expertise in integration patterns, API design, and event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, ServiceNow or Workday.
• Working knowledge of identity, security, and data governance frameworks.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience producing formal architecture artifacts and presenting to senior leadership.
• Track record of leading architecture reviews and guiding engineering direction.
• Understanding of cost optimization, scalability, and resilience.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end solution architectures for enterprise apps across layers.
• Capture requirements from stakeholders and translate into reference architectures and target-state designs.
• Lead architecture review boards, evaluating designs against standards and roadmaps.
• Design integration strategies across SaaS, on-prem, and hybrid landscapes.
• Establish architecture principles, technology guidelines, and reusable patterns.
• Collaborate with security architects to embed identity, data protection, and governance controls.
• Produce architecture artifacts including diagrams, models, and decision records.
• Guide cloud migration, modernization, and re-platforming initiatives focusing on cost, performance, and resilience.
• Support PoC development to validate architectural choices.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
• Track emerging technologies and recommend strategic investments.
• Drive standardization across application portfolios to reduce debt and complexity.
• Engage with vendors to evaluate roadmap fit and commitments.
• Ensure solutions meet regulatory, audit, and data governance requirements.
