Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Application Architect for a 100% remote role in the United States. You will design and govern enterprise-grade architectures spanning cloud platforms, data domains, and large business application portfolios, partnering with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering leaders to translate strategy into scalable solutions.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of experience, strong communication skills, and deep knowledge of APIs,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Eight or more years of experience in software engineering or solution architecture roles
• Experience architecting enterprise applications across at least two major cloud platforms
• Strong expertise in integration patterns, API design, and event-driven architectures
• Deep familiarity with at least one major enterprise platform such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, ServiceNow, or Workday
• Working knowledge of identity, security, and data governance frameworks at enterprise scale
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience producing formal architecture artifacts and presenting them to senior leadership
• Track record of leading architecture reviews and influencing engineering direction across teams
• Strong understanding of cost optimization, scalability, and resilience trade-offs

Responsibilities

• Design and govern enterprise-grade application architectures spanning cloud platforms, data domains, and large business portfolios.
• Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering leaders to translate strategic objectives into pragmatic, scalable technology solutions.
• Communicate architectural trade-offs clearly to both engineering teams and executive leadership.
