Job summary

Rocket Software is seeking a Senior Enterprise Engagement Manager to lead end-to-end mainframe modernization engagements in the United States. The role requires driving scope, schedule, budget and risk, while delivering customer value and independence in delivery.

You will influence the practice by coaching junior PMs, contributing templates and lessons learned, and collaborating with delivery teams to raise overall capability across Enterprise Services.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience delivering technology projects, including vendor-side or consulting delivery to external customers.
• End-to-end ownership of engagements with accountability for scope, schedule and cost.
• Experience delivering software implementation or systems integration in production-critical environments.
• Experience with both Fixed Price and Time & Materials delivery models.
• Strong stakeholder facilitation, reporting and customer communication skills.
• Ability to work independently under limited supervision with sound judgment.
• University degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned engagements end to end with autonomy.
• Plan, organize and execute mainframe modernization engagements across multiple streams.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality and risk objectives.
• Prepare delivery reports, logs and customer presentations.
• Lead or contribute to postmortems and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Legal and GTM.
