Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced M365 SharePoint Engineer to lead enterprise migrations from SharePoint on-prem to SharePoint Online and to build modern intranets. You will shape information architecture, migration waves, and modernization approaches, collaborating with client stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

You will bring deep experience across SharePoint Server/Online and Microsoft 365 administration, lead full project lifecycles, and contribute to blueprints, design reviews,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of consulting experience delivering SharePoint solutions and/or migrations using Microsoft technologies.
• Hands-on experience with SharePoint Server (2013/2016/2019) and SharePoint Online administration and configuration.
• Proven experience planning and executing SharePoint migrations (assessment, waves, pilots, remediation, cutover, and hypercare).
• Experience implementing modern SharePoint Online intranets (IA, hubs, navigation, search, metadata, and permissions).
• Working knowledge of the Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate), especially for forms/workflow modernization patterns.

Responsibilities

• Assess & plan migrations: discovery, scope, waves, estimate effort, and establish cutover plans.
• Design the target intranet: information architecture, hub/site strategy, navigation, search, metadata, and permissions.
• Execute migrations: configure tooling, run pilots, remediate issues, and manage cutovers.
• Modernize solutions: map legacy workflows to Power Automate/Power Apps.
• Enable operations & governance: establish standards, provisioning lifecycle, and reporting.
• Lead stakeholders: run workshops, deliver client-ready artifacts, and communicate risks clearly.
• Experience with tenant-to-tenant migrations and on-prem to cloud migrations is essential.
