Job summary

Eliassen Group seeks a Business System Analyst (Governance) for a remote contract role. You will partner with Enterprise Architecture, Engineering, Security, Risk, and Operations to strengthen governance, architecture hygiene, and risk management across enterprise systems.

You will develop governance artifacts, analyze architectures, and drive improvements while aligning with organizational standards. This W2 role offers medical/dental/vision benefits, 401(k) matching, and a competitive hourly

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 6+ years in systems support, analytics, or operational support.
• 6+ years supporting enterprise technology solutions and app portfolios.
• Experience partnering with Solution Architects, Enterprise Architects, Engineering, Infrastructure, and Security teams.
• Banking or financial services technology experience preferred.
• Experience evaluating architectures, integrations, APIs, middleware, and data flows.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Architecture and Engineering to align current and target architectures.
• Analyze architectures, interfaces, APIs, data flows, and dependencies for risks.
• Participate in architecture reviews and design sessions with recommendations on security, scalability, and maintainability.
• Develop and maintain business capability mappings, process flows, and system models.
• Assess the technical impact of proposed changes across applications and integrations.
• Ensure initiatives adhere to standards, security requirements, and risk frameworks.
• Identify and mitigate technology risks with risk, compliance, and audit teams.
• Measure governance effectiveness with defined metrics and reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement using data, stakeholder feedback, and industry best practices.
• Lead end-to-end solution delivery with internal and external resources.
